Sailmaster Richard Tefsen
My Core Business • Acquisition • Budgeting • Management, organisation and Finance • Execution  Of large rigging projects for Sailing ships. Newly built or as refit or restoration.
Business formula The described projects owe their success to the combined effort and enthusiasm of a large number of individuals and companies Richard Tefsen has acted as the spider in the web that organises and coordinates all contributions to a successful project.
Strong points 1.Network: The network ranges from Designers and engineers, through Shipyards and builders, to suppliers and manufacturers of materials and a dedicated crew of riggers. This makes it possible to conduct a project from A to Z, from design to a ready to sail rigging. Or to blend in at any stage of a running project.
2.Experience: During the last decade we built up an extensive experience in the rigging of large sailing ships. Most of the Members of our rigging crew including Richard Tefsen are experienced sailors often (former) sailing ship captains and know what they are making and what it is used for and how to use it.
3.Quality: Quality is closely linked to safety. We produce rigging accessible to sailors with- or without experience. Therefore the safety and reliability of what we make is our first priority. Our own safety is depending on what we make and how we work as well. Our area of operation is a small world so the quality of our work is our best if not our only recommendation.
4.Flexibility: The network structure has no business obligations or engagements. This enables us to adapt to every individual project and to choose the best suitable suppliers and to adapt the size of our rigging crew.
5.Budget: We always work on a commercial basis and due to our quality we are not the cheapest. However our experience in the field makes it possible to quote a project in advance and to stay within budget. Load PDF Introduction |
